The City is home to a Country library, Spokane Raceway Park, and ORV Park that hosts Extreme Motor Sports events, and Northern Quest Casino.

Cheney

The City of Cheney is the home of Eastern Washington University, with its beautiful campus located in the heart of Cheney.

Cheney is also known for its excellent K-12 educational system, with five elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.  Sports and recreational opportunities thrive in Cheney with numerous tennis and volleyball courts, baseball and soccer fields, trails and seven city parks.



Popular outdoor activities include fishing, boating and swimming at several nearby lakes.  Above all, the City of Cheney boasts of a quality of life that is unmatched and the envy of other communities.  With four distinct but mild climate seasons, our citizens enjoy the smaller town atmosphere while being close to a major metropolitan area with an abundance of recreational opportunity.
