The West Plains Chamber is asking for your brewery to attend our first annual Red, Black & Brew event in Cheney, WA. The event will take place October 8^th, (Sat) from 12 noon to 6 pm held at Sutton Park.

All brewers will be set up in the clearing near the gazebo surrounded by fencing.  We have space for 25 brewers and are requesting you to be one of them. Cost for the public to attend is $35 that includes 5 tastings (4 oz each), additional tasting can be purchased – 5 tastings for $5 or 12 tastings for $10.

• This event is to celebrate the city of Cheney and help them bring visitors to the area.
• Kick off Home Coming for the Eastern Eagles football team. Go EAGS! 
• Also, EWU is offering a Brew Master Certificate class starting this fall, (already full) to help promote and grow the Craft Brewery industry.
• And finally, the Cheney American Legion Post will be receiving all proceeds from food sales for the day as part of our commitment to our military and those that do and or have served.

Please bring four 6^th kegs, two of each product (beer, cider, seltzer, etc.).  We are asking that you would donate one of the 6^th, we will buy the other 3. Ice and tables will be provided as well as bottled water for brewers and guests. The West Plains Chamber will also include two meal tickets for the day. Please bring a tent/easy-up.

RED, BLACK & BREW BEER FESTIVAL 2022 CONTRACT

By submitting the below form, you agree to abide by the rules and details put forth in this agreement and that the information listed below is accurate. 

Cancellations: Either party may cancel within 30 days of the performance and not be subject to a penalty if said cancellation is due to an Act of God, Act of War, or COVID-19. 

This brewery agrees to the following: 

1. Check-in by 11:30am at Sutton Park (805 Washington St, Cheney, WA 99004)) 
2. Breweries must check-in first. Once checked-in, we will direct you to your 10x10 location. 
3. Remain at the event until 6:00pm 
4. Submit an invoice for kegs tapped during check-out between 6:00pm and 6:30pm at the event location. We cannot pay you for you tapped kegs without an invoice. We will have generic invoices at the event headquarters for breweries that need them. 
5. Breweries also agree to provide the Chamber with a brewery logo for event publicity. Please email to deanna@westplainschamber.org
6. If your brewery plans to have the distributor deliver the beer, payment for the beer delivered from the distributor must be taken care of before beer is delivered. Please have your distributor contact us for payment 

Alcohol Rules & Regulations: 

It is pertinent that these rules be followed; they will be strictly enforced at the event. 

1. Abstain from pouring any alcohol before Noon and after 6:00pm, in compliance with our event license. Event hours are Noon to 6:00pm. 
2. Abstain from consuming alcohol behind the taps while working the event, in compliance with Washington State liquor laws.

Release - Waiver of Liability: 

In consideration of your accepting this entry, I the undersigned, intending to be legally bound hereby, forever release, discharge and hold harmless the West Plains Chamber of Commerce, its officers and board members, event coordinators and volunteers; and the contracted venue, its agents, volunteers and employees from any and all liability for damages, injuries, or loss of any type whatsoever which may arise directly or indirectly as the result of the operation of the Red, Black & Brew Beerfest event. I agree that my participation shall be at my own risk and expense; and that whatever goods, services, entertainment or any other lawful pursuit which I may provide or participate in, to any extent, is at my own free will, expense and exposure unless specified in this contract; and that this RELEASE is given of my own free will and accord. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the West Plains Chamber, and/or their agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the West Plains Chamber of Commerce. The West Plains Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse entry.
